Love the look of Cup II's, but chrome wheels (unless they're chrome wire wheels on older classics) just don't seem to fit on newer sports and GT cars IMHO. Too much bling, or maybe I'm being too conservative. Go with the original silver color - VERY nice contrast on a black car 
If you do decide do go with a dark color (black or black chrome), I would just paint the center that color and go with a silver or polished rim/lip.

It might be just me, but I just drove from Simi Valley (L.A.) to Ft Worth & back and everywhere I stopped for gas, food or for the night, people asked about my car. It's in pretty good shape and it does have chrome wheels.

I have a set of chromed Cup's on my car, and I love 'em!
They grab attention like a flashy lure attracts fish. And being that we are driving a shark, this is an appropriate response.
You will find that sometimes when your driving along at parking lot speeds, and the light hits them at a certain angle, they will shoot out a flashy rotating reflection onto items around them, like walls, other cars, stunned onlookers...
Add to that the bright red calipers, and you have bling extraodenaire!
Take it from me, once you experience the outright luxury of real chrome, you will find that there is no going back to the ordinary way of life.

I would like to thank everyone for thier comments. There is a company here in Vegas that does both traditional chrome, and black chrome. Here's the kicker. They do the process like it's done in Europe. We saw this at last years SEMA show, and it looked just like triple dipped chrome plating. I'm going to see a few sets that have been done to make up my mind.
I've got silver chrome manholes on my car now, and I'm really leaning towards the black chrome. But on the other hand it may be to much black. I'll keep you all posted.
One other question? If I were to swap my wheels and tires back and forth, would I have to realign the car everytime, because the wheels are different sizes 16's vs 17's?

DR is the man to talk to about this, but IIRC 24.9-25.2 is what you need to look for on the diameter of the tire.
Different tire manufactures can have a difference in diameter even though the tires are marked the same, such as 295/30/18 or what ever the number is.
