What color should I paint PORSCHE on my Petrol Blue bumper?
Hi All,
My bumpers are a little faded from age -- so I decided to have them painted. The PORSCHE letters on the rear are gray but my interior is cork. Not sure how gray goes with the color scheme but I'm not sure I like the idea of tan - even though that seems to be the logical choice.
So I can just eliminate the accent color all together or go back to the gray? Any other suggestions?
Here's a pix.

if the PU covers have been painted then there may be a paint edge on the edges of the letters if so then your kinda stuck you can get new stickers but with a paint edge it will look like ship when your done.
You might try to paint the letters in, i would go with a silver gray

black if it had a rear spoiler,
but a silver gray with the car the way it is
Here are a few pictures
the White car with a spoiler in black
Green car with dark gray
yellow car with nothing

Sliver/gray is a neutral color, and will look the best.

i would go with an "aluminum" I do like that shade for trim
That is a really sharp car, i like that color allot. Can someone here tell me what year's that was seen on?

I would go back to silver or black. The cork is not that visible from the outside, but you see the silver back-up lights and the wheels, and you need some contrast to make it readable.
Black would be particularly nice, if you decide to refinish your rear window trim.

A light coloured Gold might look good ie, it,s pretty near a cork colour, but not so obvious ?
