I decided not to put any color on the PORSCHE after all. I bought Nicole's stickers but returned them. I think it looks better Au Natural. What do you all think?

Look's great as is. I think with the PORSCHE in silver would look great too. Maleficio's avatar has the BEST rear end though!!!

Yes - very clean looking. Mine is the same way:

No color at all.
I like the subtle embossed lettering. The car is already wildly expressive. It doesn't need contrasting lettering. I don't care if people know what model it is, or what make.

Can look nice either way with that color. A good clean car is enough to show off the car very well. This is a perfect example of that line of thought. Some colors can look very nice with slightly enhanced lettering. I don't particularly like completely contrasting colors like white/black and so on. Although the red does look nice with black lettering.

My Suggestion: Petrol Blue.
My Suggestion: Petrol Blue.
Petrol Blue was only available in the first year or so of the 928. I think you did the right thing in keeping it to the original, plus it looks so much better.
An added bonus is that the earlier models are getting rarer and the more original it is means more value.
Keep up the good work.

Ah, the pain to see this old thread pop up. I sold my beloved 79 last summer in a moment of weakness. I regret it deeply. It was rare in every way and such a thrill to drive with the mods. It was approaching 100k and I decided I didn't want to be the one to roll the odometer over. They have since doubled in value too. Who would have believed after decades of zero appreciation that 928's would become valuable. Even worse I sold my Ferrari soon after and that also doubled in the same time. I miss them both.
I've been eyeing a new toy lately and can't decide. I've had 5 928's. I will always love them, but not sure anything will ever replace that Petrol Blue 79. Maybe a GTS???
