Luke, drove a BoxsterS after my 90GT. I liked it. Daily drove it and went two summers without having to put the top up. Only rained at night those two summers. My only complaints were that it needs a sport exhaust for some sound and some kind of big wing on the back.

Yup. I have a 1989 911 Cab and love driving it. 928 5 speed is a different animal but both are fun. 911 is a lot more work and concentration.

A/C is a $700 Option and Radio can be added at no charge including bluetooth and Ipod connectivity.

As far as pricing, many say its too much but when you price out a similarly equipped Boxster S the price is exactly $3K different and you get the sport bucket seats.

Apples to oranges.. you will miss the smooth cruising on the highway with no limit... but low speed handling will be much snappier as the car just pivots. I use mine as a daily driver and it's reliable (knock knock knock on wood), fun and leaves the 928 for the weekends. If you can float it, having both lets you choose the mood.. ;-)

Two different cars, two different experiences...both good. I like the comfort and torque of the 928 on the highway, and like the handling (in the corners) of the Boxster even more. The Boxster was my daily driver; the 928 is a weekend and special occasion drive. Love them both and would buy another late model Boxster S again.

Just my personal preference, but would go with the LN Eng. IMS Bearing retrofit on any early/mid-years cars.

Yep, be careful...the boxster gets real twitchy above 130.

No A/C option on build your own web site.
