Yes, if you look real close you can see the Blue 1987 Del Monte Forest (Pebble Beach) License plate attached to the front bracket.

That's an amazing price for such a low mile, desirable model. I lived in Clarksville for a while, some nice roads a little east of there and some great roads outside of Guthrie. There is also the dragstrip in town that you can exercise it on once in a while for a tune-up.

Welcome to the shark tank. Looks like a leather dash and center consol as well as door panels. Great find! Stay safe and thanks for your service!

Keep your head down and your powder dry my friend! Welcome to the club.

Car looks GREAT! Don't want to rain on your parade but they don't look like 47k mile seats to me...that drivers seat seems to have a bunch of wear...more even than my 90k S4. I do love that color scheme. Regardless if you have a good running 86.5 that looks decent (and this one looks WAY BEYOND DECENT) for under $5k I think you can chalk that up as a WIN!

Not to mention a wife who takes care of the arrival AND washes the car for you! Man, that is AMAZING! I can't even get my wife to wash her OWN CAR let alone mine (though to be honest I wouldn't let her touch them anyway...at least not to wash them...she probably scratch them with her rings or dent them by dropping the spray nozzle on them)! LOL!

As to the seat wear and mileage suspicions, light colored seats show it much more and flash exaggerates it. The Momo Club 4 (NLA) is very tasty. I love mine too!

Bill,

You are ABSOLUTELY right...flash REALLY does exaggerate those flaws! That said, my S4 seats are linen. Does not get much lighter that that. I was really looking more at the seam area on the bolster and the piping. But like I said, if the car runs even decently and looks as good in person as it does in the pics... $5.6k... STEAL!

I discount the miles anyway. While 47k is pretty low it is not low enough to be in the REALLY low collectible category at all and it simply makes the car a pretty low mile driver. It looks like a great car at 47k miles and looks even better if one were to find out it had 147k miles! I don't worry about miles to much on 928's...very few of them are broken in, let alone driven out!

YUMMY car no matter HOW you slice it!
