oil blow-back issue
I need to resolve this 'oil blowback' into my air filter housing. I understand there is a part which prevents this?

Maybe there's a part. Maybe you've got problems.
Look for a part that fits below the oil filler. I think 928 motorsports sells one. It's aftermarket and there have been variants from other companies. (Mine's from DEVEK, RIP)
Oil ejection is a common problem. If you've just got oil in the intake and not billowing clouds then I suggest cleaning the intake periodically and not worrying too much about it. You can set-up a catch can if it's moderate. If it's severe then you may have broken piston rings or some other serious problem.

If your paper air filter is getting soaked all the time, I'd switch to a K&N--at least you can clean it...
Where do you mount a catch-can in a 928? I bought one but I don't know where to put it. Seems the best place may be inside the covers of the fenders(?) I bought one of Carl's kits from 928 MotorSports. It does seem to help; but, I'd like to run the hose to a catch-can rather than the air cleaner box.
