heh-heh.

Nice. It will be a shame to put that down where no one will see it, but you'll know it's there.

Default Thx

Found the pic I was looking for! These things gleam in the sun!!! Can't wait to see the car all put back together, the engine bay is tonight..

I shot the sway bar, the crossmember, mounting brackets, skid plate for steering rack, front tow hooks, and the booster for the master.

Sway Bar

Booster... front pics sucked b/c of the way it's hanging. The light was terrible.

I must have stuck my thumb on the camera lens cause I have a big blurry spot in all the photos! At least its on the camera and not in the fresh paint!

Not sure how well that color goes with the intake in your avitar.

I'll take some more pics later with things side by side.... The intake/cam covers are antique gold with red lettering, and the fuel rails/lines are all red to match. It's a lot of metallic but with the engine in the bay, you won't really notice that it has gold flake in the powder on the intake until it's parked in direct sunlight.

I put a lot of thought into the color scheme on this car, and the interior/engine colors all play into each other. She was badly beaten and needed lots of love...

Thanks, and yeah... showoffs... sorry but hey... if you're engine bay and car looked like mine... you'd be wanting to sport some pictures!

For reference... there was more grease stuck to the engine bay than paint...

It'll look great as it rolls across the auction block at B-J with the undercar cameras! Great job; can't wait to see more.

I recognize that. Took me a minute as I usually see it from the other side.

It's the Environmental Safety Device and collects fluids that leak from the engine and power steering.

Shiny!

You got that right! The original one was so thick in grease.. I wouldn't even think about washing it at my house... even with degreaser and a powerwasher... let alone put it in my jetta.. unless it was encased in multiple trashbags, and wrapped in grease rags.

This is the 83/newer brace that 928 international sent me. Thank you Mark.

hmmm, mirrors on the garage floor... don't get me started!! I've gotta get the porsche finished, then the truck, and then I can think about mirrors on the garage floor! Cause all I'm doing right now is constantly cleaning the floor! It'll be nice to have shiny clean, nice cars parked in the garage instead of boxes of parts, and bare chassis' with their engines on stands!

Let me see. I have seen that part once or twice in the last 6 months. That's high point in the gravel road smoother.

Isn't that the part that smacks you on the forehead as an initiation ritual?
