lets hope it goes through

Then Afshin can get a NEW "Beverly Hills Car" and can take one of my lovely Boxster Spyders in whatever color he wants!

I'm in in New Orleans at the moment on business and just checked and was in shock. I wasn't expecting it to sell but there were two serious buyers who were interested and it bid up. I had already been in discussions with the person who ended up using the BIN and he said that he had half the $$ already and the financing lined up. I'm still somewhat in shock right now, and I know I won't be happy when its gone.

New buyer is in Virginia, not on Rennlist yet but I will certainly point him to the forum.

Afshin, congrats on the sale, and also sorry to see the car leave the area.

Interesting Michael, this is the part that I've had to deal with in the past.

Not allowed

*

Bidding without the intent of completing the purchase
If you never hear a word from the high bidder that really annoys me, then you have to go through the whole process of levying a unpaid buyer strike against them, I think ebay should be suspending these type of people more to prevent this type of activity.

I canceled a buy because it was not disclosed that the seats were vinyl. I wish I bought the car in the end because I could have had them reupholstered for far less than the mechanical work-but you live you learn!

Amen to that.

If the economy improves in the next 5 years this car will multiply in value. If it does not, it will hold its value and not drop (unless we end up in the Great Depression II).

Afshin, congrats on the sale, I think? I hope she finds a good home and stays around the 928 community. I'm sure you'll miss her.

Wow, congrats on a great sale! I never considered that "cars & coffee" the other week might be the last time I'd see that car in our area. Great car, and I'm sure the new owner will really enjoy it! Hopefully, finalizing the purchase will go smoothly for all involved. Congrats to all involved.
