I should have bought this. I did not know how much I like these cars until I owned one. It would be a garage queen and treated well. If I could sell my 928 I would buy it tomorrow.

I'm a little surprised but those that have seen it all say the same thing. They all say "I would be afraid to drive and ruin the car" Seriously that seems to be the reason many have not pulled the trigger. It would be nice if someone that had several cars purchased it so they could drive it occasionally and take it to local shows.

For reference the car took second place again at the PCA concours a few weeks ago. I beat a really nice 79 and the Wilhoit no sunroof GTS. A 944 beat me which IMHO we shouldn't be competing against. Looking at the scores I took 3rd overall and I was runner up for best of show!

Either way I hope it goes to a good home. I'm probably going to stop doing concours once the 928 sells, it's just not that challenging or fun. I would much rather hang out and talk to everyone.

Let me know if anyone has questions or wants to discuss.

Ray if you're serious lets talk. I have several leads on people looking for nice drivers. Is your S4 a US or Canadian car and do you know if it would be difficult to bring it back into the states?

Hi Afshin,
I am serious, I am not sure on how easy it is to export to the USA? I bought the car in Canada and it is a ROW. The car is mint, with 54k miles or 90k kilometers. I have spent over 6k in the last month with maintenance.

Being a ROW car may make it difficult to import into the US. Have you considered posting it up for sale in Canada? How much are you asking?

Car is listed for sale, probably not the best time of year to be selling. If your car is still for sale and mine doesn't sell I may pull the trigger in April and keep both.

Whoever bought it will certainly NOT be disappointed! What they will have will be one of the very best 928's in the country!

Congrats on the sale Afshin!!!

Way to go Afshin! That's good money in this market, hope it's going to a good home.

Hmm, wonder if I could get $29,900 for mine??? (and go GTS hunting)

The first question should be: Will he pay?

I hear that there are many flakes bidding for cars on eBay.

My thoughts as well, kind of sucks that people will win an auction and then you never hear from them, it's happened to me twice over the years. I think ebay needs stricter policy to keep this from happening. Seems like all the power is on the buyers side and sellers can routinely get hosed. Hopefully, Afshin won't have to deal with this sort of thing and will have a smooth transaction.

Ebay bids on automobiles are NOT legally binding in the U.S. and that has been the policy for a number of years now.
