Mine is also in the garage, and the amplifier is in the well. I carry a can of Fix-A-Flat and a plug kit with me, just in case.

If I ever do a long road trip in the car, I may take the spare with me, but for everyday use, I'd much rather have a worthy sound system to enjoy (cleanly/invisibly installed) whenever I drive the car versus the hour or two of PITA I might have to go through waiting for a tow truck if I hurt a tire beyond repair.

Since I drive my car long distances thru open desert regularly, I leave everything in place. Hope if I ever get a flat its close to civilization, but you never know. A 500 mile weekend is very common in my part of the country. Besides, Fix a flat will only explode in the summer heat out here.

Those with GTS brakes on the front will need GTS 17" inflatable if they want to run the spare up front. Or, they can move a rear wheel to the front and use the spare that came with the car on the rear.
