I do and they are $46.50 each plus shipping to Spain $46.50 - so $139.50.

Thanks for the write up MrMerlin. What is the name and part number of the MM hat circled in the picture? Also, are they different early to late mounts? I am using Volvo mounts on an S4 XM. Thanks.

Called an "Engine Bracket" #928 375 069 01.
Different set up on the 77 to 82 cars. Can be retrofitted to the earlier cars.
I also sell the kits to upgrade the older cars to the later engine suspension.

Roger,
Can you post the prices for this conversion?

Also what is the advantage of doing this conversion?

I thought the older style were pretty stout and didn't require as much maintence.

The kit includes the two brackets, two large washers and the bolts and washers to fit them.
Used but in good condition $84 plus $12 shipping.

The original system is stout and lasts very well. However the rubber comes away from the brackets in certain circumstances and the MM's require replacing. The MM's are $200 each and the shocks $60 each (if you can get them). If you have to buy the shocks from Porsche they are more like $120 each.
Far cheaper to upgrade and the only reason for doing so - cost.

Stan where did you hook to on the engine with the 2x4 supports? The lifting brakets are both really close to the fenders and cross brace on the '85-'86 engines.

I would say let the supported vendors supply them and let them get all the $4 of profit for their work researching the parts that fit.

Jim,
I doubt the MM you bought two years ago are a problem - that was before we started getting the crap ones. Rev the engine and see if she rocks.

Now water pumps - that another subject. Look how much we all have learnt about water pumps in the last couple of years.

Shane the 2 X 4 supports go from the ground to the area between the AC mount bracket and block.
then on the alt side to the area where the aft portion of the ALT mount bracket goes, this will safely support the block and let you drop out the pan.
I posted pictures and also made a thread with pictures
