I had to run a 5mm spacer on my old 8x17 et70 cup front wheels. They rubbed under compression. My 9.5x18 et68 don't rub though... But I have the smaller diameter hypercoil springs which may help.

James - I'm running Bilstein/Eibachs. I haven't noticed any rubbing except near full lock, and I never looked to see if it was fender well or suspension. Just remember to not crank it that far.

I would note if I had to do it again, I'd probably go with 245's for improved appearance only (IMO). I think they would give the sidewall a more "tucked in" and lower profile appearance vs. the relatively more "bulging" and taller look of the 255's. Just a personal preference, and it might have an additional benefit of being slightly less likely to rub.

BTW, on my 18x10 rears I'm running 265's whereas some run as much as 295's. Again, I personally like the tight look better and it's also pretty close to the stock diameter.

Yoo Hoo, hey Rennbod where did you go?

Second time I have pm'd you for purchase details and no reply/response. If you are reading this and can't send a private message say so and we will find a better way to communicate.

Jarrod, thanks for the info. The tires are tucked in a bit, but not nearly as much as I thought they might be. Lookin' good!!!

Sorry guys, not been on here for ages, I sold the wheels to JMG Porsche in the UK earlier in the year.

The owner of JMG Porsche wanted them for a customers project car (928 S4)

When I took one of my cars there last month for a service they still had them. The project car had been cancelled.. So they may be up for sale from them again!

Just found this thread by accident.

The wheels are indeed with us at JMG Porsche in the UK, RennBod sold them to us for a customers project which unfortunately was cancelled when he crashed the car on a trackday.

The only problem might be shipping the wheels to the USA, may be expensive!

Our contact details are on our website, www.jmgarage.co.uk

All the best

Jon
