Spare front 9J 70 offset genuine CUP2 wheels
A few months ago I decided I wanted some CUP2 wheels for one of my 944 turbo, and bought a set from a friend who had taken them off of his 993.
Then I learned a whole load of hurt about the different offsets Porsche wheels have and realised that the rears are going to be no good for my car. But at the same time, I realised you 928 guys like this wheel size and offset.
So the question is, what 928's will these fit (s2? S4? GT? GTS?) and where (front, rear?) I seem to recall they get used by some of you guys as fronts on track cars.
the Porsche part number is 993.362.128.01 the offset is 70 and the width is 9J

That offset and width is very desirable for the front of the 928, allows for 255's on the front. If you want to sell them I am sure someone here will snap them up.

Thats one seriously wide front wheel!
What kind of rear wheels do people use with these??
Do people have to do anything to their steering to reduce the lock to stop them rubbing on the chassis?

I would love a set of 4 for my car and run 255's all the way around. I have the 21mm S spacers and long studs so the Et70 rear would give me ET54 with the spacers which is perfect.

I have a pair of these on the front of my GT, paired with 18x10 Cup II replicas on the rear. If you want to stay OEM on the rear, you either go with the stock GTS 17x9 ET55 or you find two more ET70's and run them with spacers. At the extreme, some have had Cup II's widened out to as much as 11" for the rear.
I know of a fellow Rennlister looking for these right now. I'll shoot him a PM.
EDIT: I would add I'm running 255/40/ZR17 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs and experience slight rubbing (inside) at full lock. I'm told a steering rack stop would prevent this - my solution is to simply not turn it full lock.

1995_1998 Porsche 911 16" x 9" Alloy Wheel
for $125.00 each; they have the correct offset.
If someone would buy my 18x10 wheels with 275 Hoosiers, it's what I would buy.

PM sent. I am interested in your wheels if the condition is good and you are willing to ship to the U.S.

I did get some interest for these wheels via PM's on this forum, but all the interest was from the USA and I did try to get some prices for shipping the wheels over to the USA, but could not find a courier who could ship them at a reasonable price.
So I dropped off the wheels to my local Porsche specialist to see if they can find a buyer for them. However if anyone is interested, I do know they have a mail order department and could ship to the USA much easier than I could!
Anyway, thanks for the advice on the wheels, and sorry to all the interested parties who made enquiries into buying them direct from me.
You can contact my local specialist (JMG) at www.jmgarage.com, mailorder@jmgarage.com or by telephoning +44 (0)1202 488800

Mine came out of Germany via DHL and the USPS. Wasn't cheap, but if I were to wait until I found some on this continent - I'd still be looking...

I wonder if Shocki could find some of those more easily for us since he is a German dude, living in Germany? Jarrod, how hard are these to find really? Obviously here in the states they are, but over there????
