Strosek made the same wheels in 18" x 8" with ET55 - I had these on my racer. The rears were 18"x10" with ET47.

I strongly disagree with regards to the sizing vs. offset - the wheel is a three piece design, this you can change the inner barrel of the wheel for one with whatever size suits. Currently the wheels are being assembled with an inner barrel of 7.5", which would give me 10" overall with ET65. Barrels can be sourced from Germany or the UK. Any decent wheel builder should not take more than a day to assemble the new wheels provided they have the correct OZ wrench for the bolts.

Inner side is easy to change. Using wider inner rim will give you wider wheel with larger ET but it will not change how outer side sticks too far out from fender. Only changing outer rim will help and such outer parts make wheel look stupid and might not work together with center part design.

Agreed, but ET55 on a 8" sits flush with the fender, changing the inner barrel for a wider one makes the wheel a 10" with a 65mm offset - perrrfect...

P.S. 50mm will not clear the fender and will rub...

I have ET50 fronts and 225/40 18's and they don't rub as long as you keep your ride height +160 mm, have decent shocks and use the car for street driving. With my old shocks they rubbed on hard left turns.

10" front needs over 70mm ET. Without changing outer rim you are stuck with too far outside sticking wheel. Changing inner will make ET larget but as wheel gets wider ideal ET gets wide also. You can never catch it with chancing just inner side.

I have been trying to look at this auction, but ebay in their great wisdom (not!), have deemed it a "sensible" item to sell internationally and does not let me look at them from my clearly dangerous and totalitarian Switzerland...
Would someone be so kind as to paste the pics of the wheels here?
Does someone know the seller, or a way to contact him?
Thanks in advance.
