Don't forget to do the basic mechanical testing, like compression and leakdown. Often a blown headgasket itself is just a small part of the damage to an engine. Coolant in a cylinder is tough on that cylinder/ piston/ rings. Did you refresh the heads while they were off?

The heads were skimmed and pressure tested. I didn't do a compression test yet as I'm still waiting for compression and fuel testers to be delivered.
