Greg- that's your car reflected in the window. Wish I could photoshop out the fence...

Matt Thanks It was a blast driving with you today! That little run we had almost gave me a heart attack when I saw the white crown vic in the median. Just a great day and it was great meeting you!

OB got to hang out with the big dog!

Hey Guys,

It was great to meet all of you today. I grinned all the way home.

Greg, thanks for setting it up and letting us over on the 993 board know about it.

Let's do it again soon.

Regards,
Terry

Great turnout, must have been fun. But this pic is the winner, that looks GREAT, that's the way it's supposed to look.

What size wheels/tires please?

We got split up right off the bat, we were supposed to go through the Home Depot parking lot and many went straight, then most of the group that did not go through the parking lot turned east on 129, I had promised to meet a Corvette club at Suches, so I had to go North on 60..

It was a great time, we meet up with some of the folks again later that after noon.
We did 2 runs on 180, man what a great road, to me, it rivals the Tail of the Dragon.

Sadly though I have heard that one of the Corvettes that came with us from Atlanta, the Blue one may have suffered some front end damage, I will report back when I get word on car and driver.

Pics to follow.

I told Troy, that boy bout chit himself.

Really, you were not running much more than double the posted limit at the time.

The rear engined cars made the corners look like nothing, just no effort at all, the 928's had to work at it, at least I did.

Yeah Greg I think I was surprised as Matt was when the old gal hung with him on a 60mph roll and started to pull ahead at 120mph! A fair statement of performance that the old "sell the OB and buy a S4 is a little out of line." All 928's can run hard with a little work and a model for every budget! Even mine!

Matt's car is absolutly beautiful and Gregs 928 is as sweet as they come. Stunning going down the road!

Those corners were a blast! Gave the old gal a work out, high rev's, a little smoke from the tires around corners and the tranny was taking a beating! She loved it, I know I did! When can we do that again?

Sorry to hear about the 'vette. Would be interested to know what happened. The driving was fairly pedestrian up to Blairsville. GA993 and I had to skoot back to the ATL, so, we weren't able to ride back with them. ...and 180 is a helluva road - good times for sure

Greg, I don't think your laser jammer would have saved us!

It was definitely alarming. I couldn't figure out why my Valentine didn't explode from a blast of radar. I kept looking for a light bar or some signal. I was wondering if the cop was just being kind, knowing that his presence alone is sufficient to get us to chill.

....whew!

You sure shocked me with how well your car went, and how hard you drove it.

I think we should take up a donation to get you a "Team Kamikaze" hat or something.

You guys went by them so fast you did not notice it was not a cop car.
If it had been a cop, the only thing that would have saved you would have been a very large bribe.

I also told Troy that I bet I get a call from you soon, something along the lines of "What ever it takes to out run that Blue car"

I actually dragged my front spoiler on some of the corners, I did not know you could do that at the stock ride height.

I will post what happened to the 2 Corvettes as soon as I find out.

If "that blue car" is the early one with a stripe, holy !!@$#!~!@#!$ what a sound. That was incredible just listening to it rip past. When we pulled away from that onramp I gave the little 308 its head all the way to seven grand and kept up with you guys pretty well, but got the sense he was just strolling along behind me. That was confirmed a bit later.
