I could see how this can happen the rush to get behind the wheel to see if your latest improvements worked

Maybe Version 2.0 of the lifter bars can "snap" onto the car until they are consciously taken off. This way, if someone forgets them, they can't fall off and cause damage.

I'm starting to think like a lawyer...

I think my dumbest move was removing the tranny from a '59 Corvette by myself. With everything unbolted, I lowered it to my chest and then realized I was pinned. It wasn't very painful but I couldn't move. I laid under that car for 3 or 4 hours until a neighbor came home from work and heard me yelling to him.

I forgot to tighten lugnuts on the drivers rear wheel on my RX7 and my friend following caught up to me to tell me to pull over cause my wheel was wobbling, I tried to pull over but by doing that the wheel came off and I stopped in the middle of the road right in front of a motorcycle cop. He called in a guy to shut down the lane and cone up the road so I could get it fixed... the truck cop guy laughed at me for 30 minutes straight as he waived people around me.

I have a feeling that your language was not 100% clean at this time...
