To reiterate, many thanks to Mark, the vendors (plus thanks for the pizza Rob and the leather info), organizers and OC. The food was great and plentiful. Loved those hot sausages.
Hell was a pleasant surprise, moderate temps and low humidity. I don't know who loved it more, the 928 or me? This was a great get away for me and I'll be back next year.

The trip home through Indy was only 45 miles further making it 779 miles but was 2 hours faster. The temps running across Missouri were close to 100 deg with heavy traffic. (see pic below) Everything was heat soaked including me with the sun shining directly through the windscreen. No detonation that I could tell of. Hans and AO, I owe you guys big time.

Well it was nice to see everyone again and meet some new folks.

Paul Champagne Thanks to Paul for the gorgeous owners manual covers. I was lusting after one, but didn't win one. If I'm not mistaken, this was Paul's first year of support to this event - thank you again very much for your support.

928 Leather Shop Thanks again to Rob Budd for his support of the event. The Pizzas were a huge hit. Also thanks for selling some of your wares... that '87 will be much better with a new hood liner.

928 Owner's Club Thanks to the Owner's Club (for which I am running for President) for their continued support. The shirts were a HUGE hit and I beleive we signed up around 10 new members - a record for this event!

We had so many door prizes, some people won two! Thank you Valued 928 Vendors!

A personal thanks to Davek9 and SueDen for all their work and support. Dave put the shirts together and got things kicked off this year and Dennis got us the port-a-jon.

Of course we were planning on many more people and cars, but I think we did okay. Hopefully we can get more people signed up to attend next year. But thanks to all the out-of-towners for making the drive to Hell. I think it was a pretty good party! Hope to see you all again next year.

One last comment, I was amazed that we had 7 supercharged cars and one Nitrous! Wow! That was cool! Don't worry John, I'll get that '80 off your hands soon.

My Thanks go to Mark and his wife, Dave, Dennis, Andrew and everyone else who made "Sharks in Hell 2010" a great event.......again! This was my 4th year and it just gets better. Enjoyed seeing Rick Carter, Kurt and the rest of the gang and was particularly enamored with several absolutely beautiful live examples of Porsche **** including the blue/green '91 euro GT and Hans's metallic white one. I was sporting wood looking at those 928's! Hans, It was cool to see the stuff you and Paul are cooking up for the new dash systems and am nervously awaiting to see how much I will be spending when I get one. Of course, then I'd hafta get new seats from Paul, and a console, and a leather dash, and, and, and......it never ends. Oh well, I guess I really don't want it to. Thanks again to everybody!

I though Mark's engine looked familiar… something about the tape on the radiator hose rang a bell. Check my supercharged engine picture files and found it… attached is a better focused image, just not a recent:

Mark and I were talking in the morning how amazing it was to have so many supercharged engines and that no two of them were exactly alike. Also, he said it wasn't too long ago when he used to be the only one in Michigan.

So again thanks to Mark for hosting a cool event and for leading the supercharged adventures around here.

One of the better thottle cable setups I seen Mark. I'm going to steal that one, with a little help from my engineer.

If you look at the older picture that Auzivision posted the reason I installed the wrap is the intake air was being drawn directly over the rad inlet. It was my attempt to keep the intake air cooler until I put the inlet in the fender (I don't have an IC). I could probably take it off now, but it was hard to find the wrap in black so I just left it on.

Just an FYI - You can change that display to show miles and degrees F.

Nope, can't change the euro we've tried. Also note the PRND32, nice look on a GT. Federalization parts, use what ever is available I guess.
Actual temp at Kansas City airport was 100 deg that day. Not a good day for a SC car for sure. I should have stayed in HELL.

I'm pretty sure that's not a euro instrument cluster. If it was, the water temp guage (bottom right gauge) would be in degrees C. Yours shows degrees F.

That looks exactly like the cluster on my GTS, including the PRND32 display.

If so, it is a simple long stalk pull to change the display to degrees F and miles.

Sorry Randy, I should have explained further, the euro digital component was reinstalled on the US gauge cluster.
