Too close to frenzy! We try to have that one on that date but the last two years we've ended up with oct 1 or 2.

The 928's are getting some recognition at the shows. When I showed at the Long Island PCA Concours they placed the 928's and 944's up front with the CGT, Race Cars etc. I was somewhat surprised that the air cooled cars were towards the back with the newer water cooled 911's and Boxsters in the middle and up front.

Looking forward to seeing many of you again in September.

I just told Amy about this (!) and she's on board.
I will have some of the locals (Afshin, Bill, Chris, etc.) help me do the food this time, we have a gas grille to cook on. Doing the food alone is just a lot of work. This will be fun.

In '08 the actual event was cancelled (due to rain that came at 8pm!) so we took the train into downtown Boston and walked through the North End and Fanueil Hall also and it was fun for the out-of-towners to sight see. We still had the pre and post get togethers and had a good 928 weekend.

Well duh! Who the hell needs to see yet another 911??! You know, even at PCA events, which around here are favored mostly by "both kinds of Porschephiles" (you know - owners of new 911's and owners of old 911's), Great White gets a lot of attention. I met a 911 owner after parking next to his brand-new C4S cabrio, and the first words out of his mouth were "I've always loved those!"

We are putting GRT WHT up in the informal "people's choice" concours for this event. I have never done a real concours (nor do I want to - I already know I can't clean a car that well). But it should be fun, and hopefully there will be some nice eye candy from the other car clubs there.

Hey Carl, got your message this morning. Definitely count us in for helping out with the food. We can talk more as the date gets closer to determine how many are coming and what will be needed.

Rick, I saw the posting! Making plans to lock in the weekend. Should have the new dash/pod/console in by then to show it off.
