This event is back at the same venue as 2008, and Rick3452 and myself will try to make it a complete weekend event for 928ers as we have done in '08 and '07.

September 11 2010 (saturday) is the show from 10am to 2pm, and the gtg with food etc will be at my house the night before, and saturday afternoon/evening will be at Rick's place.
We will post hotel info and other contact info. Save the date; hope to see 928ers from Canada, new england, NY/NJ, and other places this year.

A pic of my back yard from 2008:

Man,
Now you're just making me jealous! I heard Rick's front yard is not too bad either. :)

Carl, You can count me in! Nice meeting you at Dave's a while back. I'm also planning on attending German Car Day 6/20 at Larz, parking the 928 on the lawn. Looking forward to the GTG in September. Let me know if I can help in any way!

Excellent Carl. Please let me know if I can assist with any of the planning or organizing for either of the days. Can't wait!

Cant wait to see all of you back up here again....Parking on the front lawn for 50+ cars and as always the garage lift will be available to anyone that would like to use it. I will post Hotel info soon, the best location to stay is in Milford (my town) after the Friday night GTG at Carl's. Then we caravan to the show on Saturday morning, after the show its back to my place for dinner etc. The hotels are 1 mile from my home, and on Sunday its an easy departure home as we are right off Mass Pike and Route 495.

Rick,
After seeing you post here, it's funny putting the face to your signature & pic. ^^^^

Ha, would've enjoyed talking to you about your GTO! :)

So, things are looking up. Might just fly up and take Carl up on his offer to be his chaffuer (<<<------did I spell that right, Rick?).... or copilot, whatever works.
Just got to make this a low impact (read $$$) trip, and do the quick in & out weekender. Hope to see you all there! :)

Looks like a road trip to me! Maybe get a group to come up!

Always good to see my New England brothers!

Bummer, I showed at the Fairfield Concours last year and was hoping to go again this year.

Back to back concours might be tough.

What's the address so I can punch it into my gps? I need some time estimates.

I would estimate about 8.5 hours with average traffic. Give or take 30 minutes depending on route taken and when you depart. My parents live in Leesburg and these numbers are based upon trips made over the past 10 years but I've added about 30 minutes since you're a bit further south.

Thanks! I am going to have to plan this one in.

Been pretty bad about making events for the last couple of years. Definitely enjoy the weekend with you guys.

I think Amy agreed to some "entertainment" a few years back - but I guess before the baby.

We have had 30 to 40 928s at Porschefest every year since David Lloyd got some OC interest in attending. The date of 9-11 is proof that the 911 guys own (or think they own) the event.
