Guys,

I can get a brand new set of the base 18" Panamera wheels (for a good price I hope...takes offs from the dealership) but need to know if they will fit...I will certainly need new tires for them to get the rolling diameter correct but here are the wheel sizes:

Front 18" X 8" 59 offset
Rear 18" X 9" 53 offset

Let me know.

BTW, I did the search for the offset calculator but could not find it...

Should fit fine. Especially front wheels have almost ideal ET.

That is what I was thinking too when I was looking at the numbers, but wanted to run it by the experts here to be sure! I think 8" and 9" are a nice combination too...they are not as pretty as I would like but they are going to be DAMN strong considering what they were designed to support!

Just picked mine up today. The front offsets are almost perfect. Using andrews calculator we could possibly run a 245 up front. Im going with a 235/40 probably.

On the rear Im looking at a 275 with no spacer... think 275 is as large as you want to go on a 9" wheel.

I really like the look! Just have to find me a set of center caps!

James, look at my thread from about 6 weeks ago "First pictures - 18" Panamera wheels on a '91 $$$$4". There are several shots showing them. In fact, I think you even posted a comment on them. I am running Hankook evo v12 - 235/40's on the 8" fronts and 265/35's on the 9" rears. You can definitely go to 245 front and 275 in the back (maybe more). I'm very pleased with the looks and also the ride with the Hankooks along with a Boge shock/Eibach spring combo. Try em, but buy them right and you'll love them. They take 10-15 years off the age of the 928.

Your experience was where I got the idea, but I thought those were Cayenne wheels for some reason...

I like the look of your wheels better than the 5 spokers I am looking at...but they didn't have any like yours.

Was thinking the '94 GTS would be a good place to put them... Tired of trying to keep the Fikse FM10's clean. They look GREAT but they are a PITA to clean! They would also look good on the S4 from time to time!

Anyone need a set of FM10's in 17" that are pretty decent?

Yes they would look good on a (my ) S4 but like you said, they surely are hard to keep clean!
Love those Panamera wheels too. Good choice.

For those of you buying the Panamera take offs what are you doing with the TPMS meters? Removing them, leaving them in place?

Hacker, they were for an '88 930 so they are a bit wide up front (50mm offset I think, but don't get me lying) and I think they are 8" and 11". I am running 225's and 275's. That is the best you can run w/o issues on a 928. On the 930 I am sure they were running 235 or 245 even and probably 295's or 305's possibly.

Dan, I meant to answer your question too... Since in this case if I were to go through with it I would need new rubber that fits my car I would have the dealership take the tires off for their customers to buy and take out the special valve stems w/ the pressure monitors and credit me $300 to other parts I might need or want (or botique items). In fact they said they would do this and brought it up. They said most tire places will break them getting the tires off anyway, so they would prefer to take them off and resell them themselves....
