Just a folding shade with Porsche on it that fits the front window perfectly.

As it would appear that everyone is going to be buying the complete sets from 928 Spec I will just move ahead with the folding shades only.
Rog, I'll be interested in the folding shades at some point [maybe my car will leave the garage in the next decade]. I've had better luck with the folding shades on my other cars. I have the $8.00 Autozone special for the Jag and it works great.

I have ordered the sunshades and expect them shortly.
Two types - 78 to 89 and 90 to 95. Can't understand the difference but we will see once they arrive.
$39.95 each

I will talk to the manufactures about the cover tops.
I like the idea as long as they are easy to put on and take off.

Dr Bob,
I agree it ties in with the airbag cars but how would that effect a sun shade..

If you are using the sun shade while driving, the changes of the the airbag needing to deploy do go way up!

Defroster vents are different on airbag cars and those which have a recent replacement dash.

Maybe the later version of the shade has a higher level of liability insurance built-in. For the manufacturer, of course - not the driver.

http://www.reflectixinc.com/

I've used this stuff to make custom screens. It works well. Available at Lowes, Home Despot and so forth. Google it and there are similar alternatives.

I believe it would be easy to bind and sew, as well.

Looks like the Homeless Depot stuff is called, Radiant Barrier. Site went down just as I was typing this, but 2'x24' was about $25, and various sizes were available as well as tape that looked like it would work on edges.

I noticed this moning someone is selling a complete sun shield set. here is the link
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...Q5fAccessories

I picked up a set of covercratfts as well for the 944 and 28. They fit nicely, when I remove the radar and gps.

I think Nicole is also selling a good set of sun shades.
Bill Ball has them for his car and they seemed to work pretty well ,
I helped rig them once seemed like a great fit.

Tried this cover all type and it fits well. Covers all the interior and easy to fit and take off.
What do you think???

Except for the rear attachments it looks very good to me. Whats it like to take on and off, fold up and store?

How is it in wind? Rain?

Whats the car side like?

How much is it?

How do we buy it?

Mike,
It is a standard size to fit lots of cars so the fit is not exact.
Comes in a nice bag - unfolding is easy and I am sure folding it up will not be that bad.
The bag is big enough to accommodate a fast/bad folding job.

The exterior is very refelective and it hurts your eyes just to look at it.
Has velcro tabs for the mirrors and neat bungy type fastners for tabs at the rear.

It is water proof and looks strong enough to stay on a in a high wind.

If the concensus is good I will be selling them.
About $60 plus shipping
