Default CIS System Training Video's

Smiffy, from the UK & Australian 928 forums just posted this link to the training video's available on YouTube.
Very valuable information and those interested in CIS systems should download it while available.
Generic application but very relevant to the 928.
Enjoy and thank you Smiffy.

There is a training video for the basic K-jetronic (CIS) fuel injection system now on YouTube. The quality of the video isn't the best, but watching it is the best description of how the system works that I have seen. Its not 928 specific, so some aspects are different to the 928 version, but the basics are all there.

If you have a 928 with this system I thoroughly recommend that you watch it and save it for the future. It may not be on YouTube very long.

Hmm..

Thanks, some nice info.

Now I wonder why people say a K-Jet is complex.

So... A high idle speed once the engine is hot might means a faulty auxiliary air valve or a problem with the harness connected to it.

Or it could indicate a vacuum leak (metered or unmetered). Check the auxillary air valve to make sure it is closing when warm.
