Hi folks,
I've got all the parts (I think/hope) to install an '89+ style "bee sting" antenna on my '88. (Need to install one, since I recently replaced the windshield, and the new one has no embedded antenna.)
Anyway, I would like to know exactly where the hole should be. Could someone with a later model car please make a quick measurement and let me know how far from the back edge of the roof the center of antenna hole is (best guess), and also, exactly how far from the back edge of the roof the back edge of the antenna base gasket sits?
Thanks,
Paul

The hole is directly above centre of the sunroof motor gear/reducer, assuming your car has sunroof!
Maybe not as accurate an answer as you're looking for, but puts you pretty close.
