Cooling Flaps always closed

Bought mini socket set to get to that tricky nut.
Removed nut A that holds arm B locked to the motor axle.
Removed arm B from the motor axle and opened the closed flaps, which pushes linkage C down.
Put arm B back onto axle, which was 180* rotated, and put nut back on.
AND NOW IT WORKS PERFECTLY!
Thank you everyone for helping me with this obscure problem.
Now I don't have to drive around with my flaps held open. Fnar fnar!
Pedant's note: I had already removed a nut that holds motor, now safely back on...
