ID diameter of fuel hoses/barbs
Hi
does anyone know the ID of the fuel hoses? Or what size fits over the barbs?
I have spoken to Samco Sport about their new silicone Profuel hose, Xtraflex.
It will bend 4 times the ID of the hose, so a 1/4 id will bend 1 inch with out kinking, centre to centre. [It has a internal wire to prevent the hose collapsing]
For AUD$130 I can get a metre of hose that will last forever! Well a lot longer than rubber anyway, several colours, and also use it on the motorbike.
I am guesing that the hose is 1/4 or maybe 5/16
thanks

I also looked at the Samco Sport with regards to thier new silicone Profuel hose, Xtraflex when replacing my fuel hoses.
However, I could not find out the pressure rating and therefore I discounted it and went with S/S braided oem hose plus the little rear bend from roger.
I used Samco hoses for other stuff such as the vacuum hoses as they are very good.

thanks fro replies, got home, cut one open, 7.5mm ish, so 8mm 5/16th ordered.
No problems with pressure, according to Samco, just make sure a S/S hose clamp, or at least a stronger one or even two are used.
