brake booster MC mating surface?
As I prepair to put my clutch and brake hydrualic system back togather I discovered that the brake master cyclinder has a seal between the brake booster and MC. Other posts have talked about air/vacuum leaks at this point causing issues with the brakes.
The brake booster is pretty nasty looking at the MC mounting flange. I assume I need to clean this up before installation but from what I have read getting the brake booster out is a bit of a chore. Can I get the BB out easily or should I do it in place? What is recommended and should I put a sealer /paint on that part of the BB.
Thanks

Its a tough job to remove on an 85, I think you have the 9" instead of the 10" so it might be a little easier.

Any thoughts on just cleaning it up in place, putting some rust cleaner on it and using as is?
Any other issues I should / could address by removing and has anyone removed one from a 1979 and have any helpful tips / pics?
Thanks
