Sun's coming up and heading up Rt 1 North from Portland Maine to Owls Head Museum car and aircraft show for the day. Great ride up coastal Rt 1, about 95 miles. Hope to have some pixs when I get back tonight.

Damn, I live in Maine, be careful of Owl's Head they've got a bunch of cars for sale. They have an auction every year, a guy I know came home with two to go with his 70' Vette. Wife not so thrilled. I hoe you have a good day, it's warm but a bit overcast.

Just got back, There was a 1984 928 one owner donated to the the museum for sale $6000. Looked pretty good from the outside. Couple of door dings on passenger door. Don't have any other info.
Won the farthest traveled car ( 195 miles) which also made for a great drive !! Got a mug for an award with my car !! how great is that!
Great airshow of WWI and other biplanes thru the 30's and 40's. The Airforce trainer in the picture is the same type plane my uncle trained on when he joined the airforce in 1942, 6 months later he was a B-24 pilot, they moved them along quick!!
Also, show runs tomorrow as well.

voskian,
Saw your car - very nice! You'd laugh, but on our way from NY to Portland, ME, somewhere in MA you zipped by us
I'll post pictures later on Monday or Tuesday, including those where I caught you on a highway![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Very nice show all around. My wife voted for your car, but I went for that home made hot rod that was parked all theway to left of you - that was one sick car. I'll never forget thorttle wire made out of welded together wrenches lol...
I wanted to wait and have a few words with you, but every time I came around your car you were either talking with someone or was out. Finally gave up at around 1:30 and we left.
P.S. I also saw that 6k '83 car for sale. Looked good, but did you see that a for sale note also mentioned that car has some "small technical problems"?
Cheers!

I am in Scarborough, Maine, (Pine Point, summer home) this weekend (15 minutes south of Portland along same beach as Old Orchard Beach).
If you want to stop by, PM me and I'll give you directions.
They had a great airshow at Owls Head of old planes, and the Museum is pretty nice.

Bob,
Can you PM me your phone number. I'll talk to my wife and see if she will want to meet up. We planned to go island hopping in the morning, but depending on what he has in mind for the second part of the day, might have some time in the evening...
Cheers!
