Hello!

Late-style sports seats.. special in this case as they've got black with yellow pinstripe fabric inserts - particular to the SE.
For those not aware, the SE is a RHD-only version of the clubsport, made for the UK market. As noted elsewhere here, there were 42 produced, in only 4 colours - black, silver, white, red.
They were all the same spec, with manual gearbox, sports seats, fabric trim inserts, leather dashboard/doors/console/headliner, no sunroof, and the clubsport engine (very similar to later GT engine), different gearbox (normally the same as the one in the '89 GT), clubsport suspension etc., plus they have very little sound deadening.

Originally Black with red pinstripe - (and red piping to the seats) unfortunately thered becomes yellow with exposure to the sun.

thanks for all the kind remarks
the stripes are still pretty red on the seats luckilly - but the piping is very yellow! Being a rare SE though I have no intention of disturbing the car more than required (it's in need of a bit of new leather but the seats are OK!)
a lot of interest in the old Rover there - unfortunately it's not mine, belongs to one of my neighbours Dave... the bodywork is in pretty poor condition with a lot of rot, but the car does start apparently! Anyway - he apparently isn't interested in selling it

I'd always assumed the SE seats were piped in yellow to start with, as my red piping on the seats of the '89 hasn't faded anything like as much as yours despite 10 years in the high-UV climate of New Zealand.
