We will all meet at 8.00am in the large car park next to and North of McDonalds at 6001 West Parker Road, Plano 75093, so we can caravan into the Cars and Coffee car park.
928sRus will be providing donuts at C&C for breakfast and coffee will be available at the venue.
We will leave the car park at 8.25am.

After C&C we will meet at a restaurant for Brunch between 10.30am and 11.00am. This will be a good time for those out of town visitors to join us.
I am suggesting Andrew’s unless there are other suggestions.
Once agreed I will update with the address.

In the afternoon we will have a Tech Session at Brad’s Garage.

Loren the ace detailing guy will be there for those of you who would like his services.
His charges are as follows : -
wash, vacuum, wheels and tires, door jams, windows are $30.00
full interior cleaning and conditioning with a wash service $85.00
full service detailing with polishing of the exterior and full interior cleaning $ 135.00
If the guys would like the motors cleaned i do that as well for an additional $25.00
Loren needs to know in advance who and what needs doing so please contact me for a booking. These will fill up fast so do not delay.

Looking for suggestions for the tech session please?????
Be there or be square.
Roger
Roger, when we are done with the MM job, I'll take the $135 service.

Hey Roger,

I will go to Brad's first and help finish up whatever is going on at the time so we can all can break for lunch. Then go to Andrew's and back to Brad's for the afternoon of wrenching with adult beverages. We're gonna miss you Doc.
I am bringing the infamous Stepson. I have finished the AC system overhaul and KillaV installed the freon last night. Nice and cool inside now.

Jeff - do you have your coilovers pre-assembled? That saves time.

I did my pre-assembled rear Bilstein/Eibachs rather quickly by pulling the pin out the rear, only issue was getting all the components lined up on re-assembly. Oh, and it's important to get that pin torqued properly.

Fronts are more involved and time consuming.

Nope, the shocks are at Roger's place and the springs are here in Iowa. Dang! If the stars line up correctly maybe it can be done. Who knows. Otherwise I can have the local shop do it here. But I'd rather have 928 guys doing it with me than some nermal who has never seen a 928 before.

John, we know you never get up early enough so we didn's expect you at the cars and coffee.... lol
Don't worry Sterling, I wasn't planning on the cars and coffee part of it.

I'll bring my spring compressors also so we can have two sets going if we get to it.

Man, I really would like to be a part of the Sharks Saturday thing BUT... Found I blistered one of my tires at the last autocross. Its right down the center of the tread all the way around and the fronts are worn to the wear bars. Don't think it would be safe to try them from OKC to DFW and can't get a new set in and installed in time.

This is the first time I've ever worn my front tires down before the rears. I must not be using enough throttle! That or the problems I had getting a good alignment last summer really took it's toll.

Can I get on the email list for the First Saturday Sharks?

Curry is my proxy-wrench for this event. I know it will cost me in the future, but i owe, I owe, so off to work I go.

You're a good man, Curry. No matter what they say about you in the Gay Area.

Doc, wish you could be there. Have a 1.5" t-bone in the cooler with your name on it.

From the sounds of things..I'll wrench and learn. My MM's are about thrashed apparently. Bet in a couple of months if I brought up some guns and ammo I could talk a few of you boys into a little combat mechanicing. Shoot-shoot-wrench-wrench---repeat. Do we need an extra set of tools?
