Can't wait. Cars and Coffee is AWESOME. It would be fantastic to have a great turnout of 928'ers at this event.

The 928's R Us Website has been updated.

Hi John,
Brad gave his blessing the last time he was here.

I will be at the cars and coffee deal and possibly brunch for a bit. Got a deal going on in Dallas at 12:30. Then if you guys are still sucking down the suds at Brads I'll swing by.

Folks. I have to go to Warner Bros in Hollywood to fix a nasty problem at work. I'm pretty upset, but it's work, and it's basically a great job so I do it and don't complain.

Sorry I won't be able to help with the wrenching, or drinking.

Darn Doc. I was looking forward to meeting you and all. I am driving down 12 hours so I won't be back for a bit.

Guys. I am driving down from Iowa (13 hours each way) and replacing my MM's and also sounds like will be doing the springs/shocks as well. Anyone that wants to help wrench on the MM's or suspension with me is welcome. I am brining some steaks and pork chops (you provide the applesauce) from here in Iowa. We have the most amazing beef and pork up here. Never realized it until I moved away for years but there is apparently a reason why "Iowa Beef" is listed out of state on menus.
How many t-bones and pork chops. 8 of each cover it? Kind of guessing by the responses on this listing. Don't want to spend a grand on steaks and chops but I'll bring enough to pass around for those of you who don't get the good stuff very often

Jeff, it looks like we will be doing your MM job in the morning, I've got to head out to a party just before noon then will be joining back up with the group. I know in the afternoon I'm going to be doing Jarrods rack bushings on his GT, should go pretty quick, it's easy working on one of the cleanest cars in the country.

Oh, looks like we might also be getting a couple of special guests from the flood ravaged area out east also.

Jeff,
With Doc out of the wrenching crew we are going to have a problem completing all the work. Sean and I will miss cars and coffee so we can start on your MM job on Saturday morning. I need to clear that with Brad that we can start early.
The springs and shocks is about a 10 hour job and we also have other cars in line for other work - I do not think we can do both - sorry.
Thanks for the offer on the steaks and pork.

Jim,
With Sean and I out of the morning session can you coordinate the Cars and Coffee event please and we can all meet up at brunch at Andrew's.
928sRus will be providing the doughnuts for breakfast. Can you organise that and let me have the bill?

No problem Roger. I'll have a local shop do the springs and shocks here along with the boots. If something does allow us to do it, I'll bring the springs anyway.

Guys and Gals, Cars and Coffee is still on! I'll bring the dougnuts and we'll still meet at the designated spot. Lets all plan to arrive at C & C as a group, it got everyone's attention when we did it last time. Then brunch at Andrew's and from there it's just a short drive to Brad's for the various tech sessions.

On another note we could do Jeff's MM's as the first tech session and still be done in plenty of time for the B2 valve and rack bushings. I don't think struts and springs are do-able in the alloted time however. That's typically a 8-10 hour job with multiple guys working front and rear at the same time. YMMV

A/C recharge should not be a problem, as we won't need the lift, that's assuming enough talent shows up for the tech session.
