Default Radio Antenna Droop/Relacement Question

My antenna is on the center rear roof section. It kinda looks like a captive Killer Whale's fin all drooped over. I think the PO must of had a cover on the car and didn't think about bending the antenna in the spring section.
Does anyone know that if I buy a new mast section online will it include the spring or will I have to purchase the whole antenna???

I can not answer your question.

I unscrew mine before I put the cover on so it will not bend.

So it does just unscrew? Does the spring stay with the mast section?

IIRC, the part that unscrews is the entire mast (10" or so), including the spring.

Cool, it's bent in the spring. I'll give it a shot and get a new mast.

Just unscrews, you can find lots of aftermarket bee-sting antennae where you can just use the mast section (eg Golf/Rabbit Mk II). Just take old one with you to match the threaded section.
