I am gonna try to make it Saturday, but its my sons birthday on the 7th so my weekend is pretty much taken, that and if I go it will be my first time (don't have a 928 yet) and trust me my first time is going to be in my 928, not a rent-a-car... Although it would be nice to drive there in a rent-a-car and drive back in a 78/79 928!

Nothing wrong with it but the Ford Focus is the back-up plan. I replaced the water bridge seals and I also added new water bridge gaskets so no more water leaks. Now I need to target the a/c to get it blowing cold and it will be ready to hit the road. I appreciate the offer though :-)

Doesn't look like I'll make it this year either. My oldest is graduating this Saturday so between the festivities and the aftermath along with some other unavoidable commitments during the month of June my shark time has evaporated. Also need to figure out how to squeeze in a TB/WP job before July 4th so I can take the shark when I go to Montana to pick up #1 son after his trip to the mountains.

I was close to not going. My wife has/had breat cancer and just had a bi-lateral mastectomy Monday. Lymph nodes came back clear of cancer cells, by God's blessing.

I always take my boys with me, so she said please, please go. She said she will be fine by then.

Glad you are going to make it. Gives her a little time for herself, maybe that's good.

We might bring a second car IF we can get it to run cooler.
