that would be very nice!
Can you sent me a PM with details so we can meet somewhere to do the diag.
Thanks,

Well I'm back, and my problem is too. Ran great for a couple of weeks and now I get random stalls and the occasional surge when I push in the clutch. I'm going to have to troubleshoot the idle switch again, maybe now that I know it's plugged in, it isn't functioning correctly.
Paul, did you get your car on the tester rig?

Yesterday I had planned a meeting with Aryan to do the diag. But Aryan got ill so we have to make a new appointment.
After the readout I'll post our findings. Hopefully this will shed some light on the issue.
By the way, I must say my problem stays away for quite a long time now.... My driving interfalls are fairly big since I have several cars to choose from for a ride. When I had the problems I was driving the 928 more frequently I must say (every day usage).
We keep in touch!
(by the way, mine is an automatic)

Hope we figure this out. It was quitr irritating today. Stalled 5 times in 5 miles, just about every stoplight. Exact same symptoms as before. Surging idle when it did, no problem if I kept just a little gas. At least I can heel toe it when I push the clutch in. I guess I'll reboot the LH again and hope it learns the right stuff???

If your car has the digital dash with the instant fuel economy read-out, you can easily check the idle switch.
When the engine is warm, and the RPM is over about 1500, and the idle switch activated (throttle completely closed), the LH ECU totally shuts off the injectors. This will give max fuel economy (90 mpg on USA versions). If you barely move the throttle, the fuel economy should instantly drop.
So, all you have to do is to find a spot where you can coast with the throttle completely closed for fifteen seconds at highway speed...
