Anybody have any suggestions on how to tighten the brake line fitting on the MC that is hidden in behind the MC? Do I have to remove the reservoir to get wrench access? If so, how does the reservoir come off without damaging it? The WSM just says to "pull it out from above" - any tricks to this?

It just pops out. I try to be gentle and pry up at the base. Word of advice, those res's are EXPENSIVE, don't break it.

Thanks Sean. I tried to get it out when the entire assembly was on the bench, but I was afraid to break it. Any other way to tighten the hidden fitting? A special wrench needed?

Squirt some penetrant on the rubber bits where the res goes in, it will come out. I can't think of any tool to get in there, if you've got a wife with small fingers and a mini wrench you might get it in there.

Are all the brake lines on the MC made by hand?

Mine are original AFAIK, and now back to pre-federalization location.
