jejejeje is because i never program a ecu and when i think all the work and time who cost me to work well engine enter me the smile.i suppose that the smile disappear when not work well...

Carbs are a pain in the a$$. It is way to easy for them to get gunked up if the car is not regularly driven. When you go up in the hp/liter ratio, you want the air/fuel mixture to be exactly how you set it all the time. Even small mistakes at WOT when you are over ~120hp/liter will cost you a headgasket FAST. I am always tweaking the damn carbs on my boat so it runs right (it has 6 of them). Every time I do, I think more and more about converting it to fuel injection.

Carbs have become so much of a PITA NASCAR is now considering going EFI.

NASCAR does pretty well with one 4-bbl carb. 850 honest HP from 358 CID, N/A, with pushrods. 6000 up to 9000 RPM and back for 3-4 hours. Fuel mileage is a little low...
