Default Sharktuner connector

Ive got this sitting in my box. Just trying to see what its used for or if I should have it hooked up?

Right now my WIDEBAND goes from the LM-1 unit into the ST....and the stock O2 sesnor stays connected. The stock O2 is disabled when in AUTOTUNE anwyay...correct?

Ive also read in the Sharkplotter manual about a switch being placed on the black wire from the STOCK O2 sensor to disconnect it from the LH and force open loop tuning? Why does that have to be done when Autotune does this for you...

getting a little confused here. sorry.

That harness just provides a convenient way to connect your WBO2 to the ST. It also has a plug for the WBO2 so you can use its NBO2 emulation instead of using a separate NBO2 sensor. Since you already have a separate NBO2 sensor plugged into the LH and have already plugged your WBO2 into the ST without that harness, you don't really need it.

About autotune disabling O2 input, yes, it does this. It is also supposed to disable O2 adaptation. However, I remember of some weirdness with this, so that is why some people put a switch on the O2 wire so they can be sure its input really is not reaching the LH. Also, when creating logs for the SharkPlotter, you should not be in Autotune mode, so you need a way to be in open-loop mode all the time while you are making these logs that you will open up in SharkPlotter. I personally don't have a switch. Instead, when I want to tune in open loop mode, I copy all the cat maps to the non-cat maps., disable the CO pot and force open loop mode in the Fuel parameters ST page.
