I know, Roger is the man.... But i live in Denmark, shipping and tax will proberbly make it very expensive
So if there is a good replacement, that would be much cheaper.

PET lists lengths of the two pieces as 900mm and 320mm (the sensor fits in between both pieces), and the diameter is 60mm ID. It doesn't matter if you go a little bigger by a few millimeters, as you'll find it's a better fit on the alternator shroud. If you buy locally you'd just need to look for a suitable type of hose for the application ... able to handle the temperature, water, oil and mechanically pretty tough.
+1 on what Jon said ....As Roger ships to Europe regularly I wouldn't be surprised if his price is as good as you'd get locally, even with shipping ... and you can save yourself the drama and cost of having to shop around looking for the right material. Worth a call ... as his prices beat getting almost anything here in Australia.

I think his price is around $25.00 for 6 feet of it. I might be wrong though.

I know exactly what you mean. And you may well have a very good hose supplier close to you that has the perfect hose in stock.
I know from what would = $1000's of of my time searching for alternatives for relatively cheap items that this is one that I wouldn't waste my time searching unless I knew that I could just take either the alternator shroud or the tube for the external air temp sensor down to my favourite " strange hoses R us" and find one that fitted.
I wish I could just tell you the internal diameter of the hose - at one time I would have had it in my head. If you have a good hose supplier close to you take off the int temp sensor tube and take it to yourhose shop. If you don't order it from Roger and save your time for something more important like working on your 928 or being with family or going sailing or earning more money to buy more 928s - no more important things in life than that are there ?

Mads,
The inside diameter of the hose is 63.5mm or 2.5".
The Porsche hoses are very expensive for what they are and do not stop absorbtion of oil and general crud.
The hose we sell is impervious to fluids. Costs $23.75 for just under 2 meters (6').Shipping to Europe is $14.50 by First Class Airmail and the low value of the hose will probably not get flagged by customs.
Use that as a benchmark for local supply and good luck.

Roger,
Do you have the shrouds as well? I have an aftermarket Bosch rebuild alternator and the shroud from the OE French alternator does not fit.

Hi Will,
I have all three shrouds - one metal and two plastic along with the gaskets.
I suspect you need the 85 to 95 - 928 613 133 07 - price just shot up to over $50.
I think I still have one at the old price.

Mads .... dealing with Roger also gives you that wonderful warm feeling inside from the knowledge that you've allowed him to throw a few meagre scraps on the table for his starving family for at least one meal .... and maybe even allowed him to consider treating himself to a small glass of wine on a special occasion ... ....
