After seeing this thread I decided to get the same 18" Panamera wheels for my 85'. I had them powder coated a dark grey. Thanks for showing that they fit.

I went with 235s in the front and 275s in the rear. The front fit without rubbing, but the rears needed the fenders pulled a little to fit without rubbing.

I'm importing these Panamera S wheels for my '91 S4 (with the factory rolled rear fenders). At the moment I have no spacers and the existing 9" D90's at the back sit quite a way in. I could easily add a 15mm or even a 20mm spacer and they'd probably still fit. I'm keen for the 9" Panamera wheels to sit as wide as possible without rubbing at the rear. So my question is - with 275/35-18 tires - would I even need spacers for them to fill the arches, or would there likely still be room to add a spacer to get as wide a track as possible without rubbing?

Because of the variation in section width of different brands of tires, I'd hold off on the spacer until you have your 275 of choice and wheel mounted on the car, and measure where you're actually at. There's also the question of whether the Panamera wheels have recesses in the hub face deep enough for the spacer studs/nuts. Probably, but best to make 100% sure now.

Okay, thanks Rob - makes sense. I'll hold off until all fitted and see how they look!

Thats my 93 GTS (Avatar Pic) still have the wheels but they are now on the 88 Grand Prix White, no sunroof car. I got a set of Cup I with 928 offsets for the GTS. The wheels fit well and definitely give the cars a more modern look.

Edit: the tires are 235-40 fronts and 285-35 rears. Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S04s.

I am really warming up to these Pano wheels described in the first post. I have Clubsports right now, with a 7 in. front (944 Turbo) and 9 in. rear, and while I like the look I don't like the ONE brand of tires available (Toyo Proxes). Being a GTS, I guess you can go with a wider section of 285mm without spacers, correct?

I have a 87 S4 and was thinking of going with the 235s up front and 265s in the back. I would like to go wider but don't want to roll fenders. I have new Boge shocks and my ride height is at the low end of spec (I think 170mm).

I've had the 10-spokes for about 4 years now and like them a lot. I would only offer that you consider the 5-spoke instead of the 10's as they are a bitch to clean and keep clean. I went conservative and have Hankook Ventus v12 evo2 with 245/40 up front and 255/35 in the rear w/ factory ride height. fwiw, the speedo was right on the money after putting these on.
