Default windshield wiper issue

My windshield wiper motor works fine. The wipers will go back and forth if I raise the wipers off the glass (as if I were washing the car), but as soon as I put the wipers back on the glass they won't move. The motor still runs, but something is stripping/slipping inside with that added pressure. I took apart everything and found this part in the picture to be the cause. The white part spins with the motor, but with any pressure, the metal part sticking out of it won't turn. This should be one solid cohesive unit, but the metal is slipping inside the plastic part.
That said, can I just buy this one part somewhere, or do I have to buy the entire motor? Obviously for cost reasons, I'd prefer just to buy just this part since the motor is working fine. Any ideas?
Thanks,
John.

Just get a used motor they are normally very reliable... I'd not worry much about used in this case.

Since they are reliable there must be lot available...

Are my wipers running "slow" or is it my imagination? Does anyone know how many sweeps per minute is normal for the wipers?

Hmm... So does anyone have a used motor they want to sell?
