Default For sale Risky Business 928

Looks like it is up for sale, here is the link:

http://volocars.com/1979-porsche-928...usie-c-966.htm

Just found it, I wonder what they are asking for it?

On the note of 928 in the movies, what year was the 928 in the movie 'Looker'?

They used a '79 in that movie? The movie came out in '82 or '83 right? Man I sure would have thought they would have had a new one for the beauty shots...though maybe they did. Maybe this was the U-boat 928! LOL! I think someone said they used 3 for the movie. Driver, beauty shot car, and U-boat. I don't have a '79...if I could drive a stick and the car was in decent condition I would be sorely tempted!

Wouldnt Tom Cruises movie car be all water damaged? HAHA I was living in Sunny Southern Caily when the 928 first came out. I remember them unloading them at the dock. Then a year or so later the movie came out and I had to have one! HAHA.

A few years ago someone found the car and made a movie about it, there are a few threads on this. Once the filming was complete, it ended up at it's current location.

Some of the threads:

If you were going to try to sell it to the guys at "Pawn Star" you would need some sort of documentation to prove it was the actual car.

according to the information available, there were several 928s used in the movie. Question is, how was this vehicle used in the movie ? Can the vehicle actually be traced to the movie production and does the sellers story add up?

Sort through the links I posted and some others if you do a search. This car and it's history has been discussed almost as much as what oil to use

Its one of 5 or 6 depending on weather you count the car in the movie poster as another car.

That car was used in the chase scenes.. but I think it did not have the right wheels or something so it was also used for the high shots as well.

The word is it got pretty beat up. That above link goes in to all the details about the car.

Its a good read.

Yea, I am in a wheelchair, I can only drive automatics...can't use a clutch. BTW, they ARE all still automatics and most of the are parked in my garage right now!

60K!!! come on that is crazy money. The only way I would pay that much is if all our 928 where in the 50K range (as they should be!)
