]As part of my 928 boat project, I am making a lightweight fiberglass copy of the 928 dash and console. I filled in all of the openings and raised the console center out to nearly flush. I also filled in the windshield post cut-outs. My intention is to graft this into the boat and transfer the boat’s existing gauges and switch functions into a 928 dash pod (also molded in f-glass). An early 928 3-spoke wheel will complete the dash package.
As soon as I started roughing this out it occurred to me that this setup would be nice for my track car. I’m not thrilled with my current instrument and switch installation and this would give me a chance to integrate everything I have added piecemeal when I built the car.
The mold “plug” is going into the spray booth today and will get a few heavy coats of black epoxy to seal it. This will give me a stabile base on which to do the finish body work and then we will shoot a mold from this plug. I am only in this for the two dashes that I need. After that I am going to give the mold to my glass guy and I’ll pass along the names of anyone interested in having him make a dash for them. If this finished mold plug survives the mold creation process I would be happy to give it to someone who wants to experiment with ideas of their own.

are you still producing fiberglass dashs? If so, I'm interested in one please send price and availability.
also, did you make the front cover and splitter in you car photo? Are the available?

I have one hanging in my garage, never used. I'll take $250 for it plus actual shipping, which will be a huge challenge. I guess a crate would have to be built to protect it? IM me if interested.
