Atlanta Area Peeps, Mountain drive next weekend? * Now With Pics!

Got Mom's approval, she said it sounded like a great idea. We actually might drive up on Saturday and stay in the mountains, and then meet you guys somewhere. We were looking at the Dillard House if you're thinking that direction. The food there is INCREDIBLE.

I was thinking of meeting at the Waffle House at GA 400 and GA 19 around 11 Saturday morning, how does that sound to you folks?
If some one can tell me how to do a screen capture I can post the route I am thinking of.
Or I can just try to describe it.

Greg and all, would love to come up and check out your machines before you head out! It will give me inspiration to get mine done. What type homebuilt will make it’s first flight? Have some aviation background myself; www.stlouishelicopter.com , have worked here for many years. See ya Sat at 11:00AM! Michael Murphy, Dacula, GA

If you like homebuilts, Falcon field is the place to be, they have more complete homebuilts than I ever thought could be in Georgia.

If you describe it, one of us can get a map posted. Lots of great drives up there, Richard B Russell out of Helen, 348, Hwy 60, Route 180 (Brasstown Bald)...here's a good list of some nice drives. I've been on them all and then some. Even better are some of the country roads that are hardly on the map. Basically anything through the Chattahoochee Forest is going to be a pretty nice drive.

Ok, let me try this way
Start at GA 400 and 19, go through Dahlonega north towards GA 60, go through Suches, continue on 60 through Morgantown until you get to the Appalachan Highway (515) (that was one of the drives on your list) then go east and pick up 129 south, then pick up 180 back to Suches.

Couldn't get the doc to open, but here's the route on Google Maps. How'd I do?

That looks like it Mark, I am open to any route any body wants to take.
That one just looked good on the map.
EDIT: here is the weekend weather report for Saturday at Suches.
Partly cloudy. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid 40s.
