Default 928s R us and Roger Tyson

OK,
My Turn.
I hate doing a "me too".

I really want to thank and recommend Roger & Co.
It has been years (and not a couple) since I have had the pleasure of doing business with someone who actually not only gives value for the money, but actually lives up to what they purport to be.
Before I embarked on the current journey, (928 psychological issue) no, wait, 928 ownership,
I did some comparison shopping and "test" enquiries.
On two fronts initially, Roger excelled. First, he answered my questions without hesitation and in a very prompt manner, and second, when all was said and done, he was by far and away, the least-cost supplier. (Three major (and typical) projects checked).
The second point is in that position for a reason. IMHO, the professional approach is to deal with the issue and discuss the price/cost as a secondary (however, not minor) consideration.
Subsequently, I have yet to have any issue whatsoever with the service or advice I have received, nor the timely communications.
Well, I'm now two years in, and every step of the way, I've had the benefit of Roger's advice and support. And, I might add, that includes a couple of somewhat embarassing weekend "Please Help Me" calls.
All in all, I don't believe Roger has discovered a new business model, I do however, firmly believe that he has simply done what many have forgotten to (or have no intention of doing in the first place) do. (With or without some bullcrap "ISO" designation).
He delivers what he says he will in a timely and honest fashion.
(Yeah, I know...but there are still people out there who believe in the concept of customer service).
Bear in mind too, I'm technically an international customer, and that typically comes with it's own set of issues.
Quite simply and succinctly. I'm impressed. (and frankly, I don't impress easily).
In all my dealings with him, Roger has been first and foremost a gentleman, and a consumate businessman.
Really just want to say thank you and let the community know about my experience with this top-notch business..

I agree- Roger answers work (928 related) questions in the weekend. Nice attitude and great responsiveness. We all have a wishlist and Roger gets my vote at this stage!

I don't think it ever gets tiring to say thanks to people like Roger. Just used his service this week and, as usual, service was perfect. He is not only a great 928 supplier, he is the best contact I've ever had in the car world.

Hmmmmmmm.... I smell some British Empire Commonwealth boot licking going on here. First three posts on this thread are 2 hockey players and a kiwi

I'm a Roger sycophant as well. Great service, advice and keeps representing new products for the enthusiast. I'm a Roger fanboy.

+928 on Roger! Anytime I have a problem with a part, Rog does full bore research on it and sends a new one right off with no charge

PS - Roger - I'll let you know about that PS hose. I'll post pics in a new thread in a few days. Heading o your Lone Star State today to pick up a new Mustang GT in Lubbock - hope the tornados don't blow me away on the ride home!

Well said Rob. When working with Roger it doesn't feel like "business" transactions. Feels as if a freind is helping you out with a supply of parts.

Totally agree with all the previous statements, we're spoiled her in the DFW area having Roger so close by. Amazes me how much he has in stock and how quick he gets special items, love the silicone pan gasket he sells! Well done!

Right on. I have only had my 928 a short time, and have only needed 2 parts, but Roger was there responding to my 11:00PM e-mails in real time. Totally above and beyond....Thanks
