Default Cheers Mate

Roger has become my go-to guy when I can't figure out something (like where is the low pressure AC connector!).
Because he is our 928 encyclopedia, even on weekends, the least I can do is buy his well sorted components. (last order came in less than 24 hours and shipped for less $$ - way up here in the Great White colony!)

Cheers Roger

Hi there Roger,

pls reply on my mail [I already wrote you] - I'd like to place some orders, but sadly couldn't do so at your online shop because it doesn't take my German address...

Thank you very much.

Cheers

Marc

Now it is my turn to thank Roger and his team. Roger sent me the part that completes my rear suspension, without which the car would never hit the road again. This NLA part is very simple but very needed. No parts supplier in Europe was prepared to take it off a car. Roger did and by doing so, saved my car! And nobody can beat the price!
I owe him lots of that liquid grape stuff and am looking forward to return the favour.

Another satisfied customer here. Roger has done an amazing job getting me the parts I need for my rebuild project so far. Absolutely no parts for sale around here in MT. Always tells me the best options available, and emails me quotes so I can figure out how to fund it. The parts he has sent have been top notch, and I can't see going anywhere else for my major purchases.

Thanks Roger.

I feel spoiled with the nearest Porsche dealership 5 min from my house and 7 others not farther than 2 hours away. And a couple dedicated Porsche deconstruction companies that also do new parts. All of them within 2 hours of driving. And I enjoy visiting the Porsche dealership on Friday afternoon to get the new spares and have a chat and the best coffee in town at Porsche Centrum Rotterdam. And the lady of the parts desk (Loes) seems to know all parts by number. She is great!
Still, this simple parts was NLA and not one of the used parts companies was willing to get it off one of their wrecks. Too much hassle. Roger came to the rescue!

++ on all previous and following accolades posted re: R of 928's R us. Sometimes owning a 928 can be like peering down into the rabbit hole...once you get in, you never know what you might find.
With Roger as the guide, there's ALWAYS a light at the end of the tunnel..

Thanks R

Yeah, I called 928sRus after having issues with payment through their checkout/webpage.

Talked to a nice lady, Laura l believe, and she handled my needs promptly. Granted, between my hearing loss and her Texan accent...there was some complications with dialog.

When we were done with the order and debit card info...she asked for my phone number. I was a bit surprised by this, since I'd never been asked for that when ordering from other suppliers. So, I asked why was that needed. She said..."Oh, Roger will be calling you too talk to you about your 928."

I was like???...why would he do that? I guess that would be the customer service thingy most here have mentioned. I gave her my number, but explained I was at work...and if he did call he would most likely get my wife...and she would probably give him an ear-full about this 928 I bought or want too know how much money l spent...so it would be best if he didn't...lol.

Truth be told, though, I've had good experiences with all of the vendors on this site.

Brian.

Yup, I keep my maintenance log and receipts at the office, Rogers phone number is listed as I.R.S. in my phone. Doesn't hurt to have a "off the books" bank account either!!

Rog forgot to order a hose for me yesterday, not only did he drive to the warehouse where he ordered it, he drove it over to my place and brought a couple bottles of wine with him. Now THAT is customer service.

results not typical, offer may depend on location and availability. Age requirements are enforced. Having Formula 1 or the like available for Roger are a necessity. Don't drink and work, much.

Back when I had a 928, I think I literally got a few parts in 20-30 minutes tops. Unbelievable speed of parts access!
