Here's some pix of the door panels.
The third image shows the marks for the mounting holes of the bracket that needs to be used from the original panel.
The fourth image shows the original bracket on an original door panel.
I revised the weight of the panels in a previous post.
The correct weight of a new panel without the leather, carpet and storage bin is 3 lbs. An OEM panel without the leather, carpet, and storage bin is 3.4 lbs.

There's a considerable amount of work involved in cutting and drilling out the holes on each door panel.
In light of this, I will offer the panels in their raw state at a reduced price.
$200 for either one. $400 per set, plus shipping.
The holes including the speaker holes and perimeter have markings from the mold. Despite this I will advise that extreme care must be taken to be sure the right size holes are cut and the perimeter is trimmed to the proper dimensions.
If you don't have the right tools, experience, or patience take it to a professional.

Drool. I need these!!!!!
Bob-- You remember the beautiful dash/pod/glove box/A-pillars you did for me in silver stitching? Do I need to do these in leather to match, or is vinyl better (if they get wet when opening the door on a rainy day?)

The untrimmed ABS panel weighs 3 lbs.
The OEM untrimmed panel weighs 3.4 lbs.
So fully trimmed they would weigh 5.2 and 5.6 repectively.
You'd save 2.6 lbs using the ABS untrimmed panel.

The prototype fit like a glove and I'll be taking delivery of the first run of door panels this week.
There's still a few sets available at the Rennlist prices.

UPDATE 2/9/2012
On my last order I was able to negotiate some reduced pricing with my vendors during the holidays when business was slow for them. So I figured I'd pass on the savings.
I have 10 sets left.
SALE PRICED $350 per set plus shipping. Unfinished. Finished prices remain the same. See opening post for details.

If you have removed the glass, you could use these as a race panel.
If you still have glass in the door, you need a metal skin to secure it if you get hit/etc and the glass explodes into the cabin.
THey weigh almost what a stocker weighs. Many years ago a friend of mine cut only the very top of his door panels off, so as to leave an "armrest". IMHO for racing you should delete these panels altogether. And then some, ie door interior skin and stock safety bar, PROVIDED YOU INSTAL A ROLL CAGE.
