Dan, that car was called Agent Orange or Clockwork Orange or something like that. I thought I had a pic of it but I guess not on this computer...

Here are a few more... The pink is a bit girly and certainly not for everyone. The green 911 is the color SIGNAL GREEN...If I EVER found a 928 factory painted in that color I would buy it!!! PERIOD!

The last GTS for the USA is this crazy green color...can't remember what it is called but I like it...add the purple interior and you would have a tribute car!
It was clockwork Orange, here's a pic.

Porsche made sure to end the series with another controversial car - check out the serious showcar paint (Perlglanz green/yellow) and wild lime and plum leather in. EVERYTHING inside has been leather covered. Thoughtfully, yards and yards of extra material have been included with the car in case of future mishaps.

There is clockwork orange! Good work!

rligeti, yea, it came with extra seat belt webbing (in purple), extra lime green hides (like 3 or 4 of them! Maybe even some were purple), several gallons of extra paint (that had to be several hundred dollars per gallon) and a price tag above $160k!!! YOWZA! If (and maybe when) I have another good job and a few extra $$$$$, I am going to get a '95 GTS that needs some cosmetic work and I am going to recreate THAT CAR as much as possible!!! Hello Paul and Kevin...get ready!!

Mat Silver with Gloss Black stripes.

Hell, if I had the cash, I would make mine like that anytime.

Yeah, if i remember correctly, it was an extra *50 FEET* of webbing. I wanted that car sooo bad... An OB tribute car would be pretty awesome too.

I think it was more than that...I think it was like 250' feet! I recall them saying something about having to dye and entire 300' roll of the webbing and only using a small amount of it! Either way... CRAZY but cool that you get all sorts of stuff to repair and replace things if needed...on a car that expensive (for the day) that was the least they could do!

Anyway, I hope some day that I will be able to have a '95 GTS tribute car to that one!

Got some time to kill?

I was hunting through my collection of 928 links and found this one...

http://www.thedeathknight.com/928/Porsche928.html

Some VERY interesting 928s, and colors.

Don't click if you need to be somewhere soon...

Wooo Hooo! Look at all these great colors +1 on the following: Arena Red, ZyclamRot, Sunset Orange, Signal Green - totally jazzy colors, very fun. I posted earlier a few of my preferences, here are some pics of the colors i mentioned:

Audi TT colors (aviator grey is the lighter one, battleship grey the darker). IMHO these are very sleek modern colors for a car but maybe too industrial for your taste as i saw in the original post you're thinking of candies and pearls... food for thought:

And the Volvo Colors - not quite Sunset Pearl! But could still be very classy:

And my favorite for stock Porsche current colors (see previous post). This color is stunning in person, the pictures don't give it justice (it's one of THOSE colors). but these pics come close:

And another color i found browsing around - this could be very nicely done and unique:

Geez - after looking at these i'm thinking my bias is showing - not too many candies or pearls in my palette. . . . . oh well, food for thought!
