If i were to ever do that, I'd also have to have black powder-coated cup 2s with a red pinstripe around the edge of the rim and some nice bright red calipers.

Doesn't Jaquemond have a 928 in this color? Their site is temporaily down but IIRC it's pretty close and looks good too!
I'm a likin that suggestion of eggplant, deep blackish purple. Sounds incredible and would look fantastic with a black interior.

Paint it Guards Red, trust me your son won't regret it, it's a major chick magnet color. Pulling into High School in a Guards Red Porsche turns heads. Don't ask me how I know

Dan, that car was called Agent Orange or Clockwork Orange or something like that. I thought I had a pic of it but I guess not on this computer...
Here are a few more... The pink is a bit girly and certainly not for everyone. The green 911 is the color SIGNAL GREEN...If I EVER found a 928 factory painted in that color I would buy it!!! PERIOD!
The last GTS for the USA is this crazy green color...can't remember what it is called but I like it...add the purple interior and you would have a tribute car!
