It's a crackin' show! I guess I'll have to suffer and miss the second half of "Glee" tonight LOL

We need to push HD Theater about getting the rest of the seasons shown over here. I think they're up to Season 8 in the UK and we've only got the first three or four.

I wonder where that 79 928 is now. Anyone in the UK ever seen it? I love how Mike calls the 928 a "Brute" and "a proper Super Car"

Bri,

I just realized why you like this show so much...it is YOUR CAR!! Love it! They really did do a great job with the car. I am surprised they had virtually NO mechanical work that needed to be done.

Did you notice the race car behind Mike as he was loading the phone dial wheels in to the back of his car talking to the camera???

Here is what is behind him...

Having watched at least 20 episode pairs (both on DHTHD and online) I can say with all fairness that Mike and Edd are at their giddiest when the car is finished. Mike looks like he's almost going to cry tears of joy :-)

I agree...this was totally a work of joy and love for both of them! I think they were even more excited about the 928 than they were with the Ferrari! Of course our 928's (even the 4.5L OB autos) would SMOKE that F-car they did!

Yeah-the Ferrari was a bank drain and it was a Dino after all...plus Edd really loved the precision engineering of the 928. As hard as the work was-it was relatively trouble-free and it got back together perfectly.

I love his painter buddy. I never knew about a "sealing" coat for older paint layers. Learn something new everyday...

I like the show but the only problem is they never figure in for the cost of Ed's labor when doing their calculations. That's not very realistic...

The show is geared towards home wrenchers so they never calculate his labor. Wrenchers with a lift!

Also, there is a "mechanic" credited on the show. Edd main gig is building moving furniture and offices:
