Default Question about shipping bumper cover

For anyone that has shipped or received a rear bumper cover or just has an opinion, does the pictured packaging method seem ok for one? I received this yesterday and the sides were folded in tight and taped down. After unpackaging the bumper, the sides are wanting to stay folded in. Did they ruin the bumper or will it return to form on its own or with help?

Tossing it in a hot-tub should get it back to the original shape. Most of these plastics have a memory, and a good hot soak for extended time will help it remember. Its worth a try in your case.

Good idea. Especially if it's a hot-tub time machine and i can go back to before they packaged it like this. :-)

That kinda sucks. When Roger posted a picture of a shipment for a bumper, it was the RIGHT way. I am sure 928intl has done it properly too. I have shipped a few and I always support the structure instead of compromise it.
